    [2. September 1563] Congregatio undecima. Die Septembris 2 propter praedictum decretum regiminis et empiricum quendam Christoff Holzschueher126 nomine rursum convocavi facultatem.

    Empiricus igitur ille in sequentibus articulis, sectione herniarum et calculorum vesicae, curandis oculorum suffusionibus, (ut vernacula lingua appellant Sternstechen) item externa morbi gallici cura examinatus, pro digno et idoneo ad ejusmodi curas judicatus est. Numeravit facultati 3 flor.; a me accepit literas testimoniales.

    Ad magisterium sanitatis suscipiendum me ipsum facultati obtuli, idque suasu quorundam doctorum, qui nihil periculi huic officio modo subesse putabant, cum pestis non sit usque jam vehemens. Caeterum re melius perpensa et cum amicis ac affinibus consultata tandem paenituit propositi. Cum autem regimen decretum illud non usque adeo urgeret, nec pestem adeo vehementem [fol. 42r] esse diceretur, distuli. Interim soliicitus eram de alio in locum meum substituendo.
