    «Paschalis, episcopus, servus servorum Dei, venerabili Johanni, Morinorum episcopo, salutem et apostolicam benedictionem. Tarn ex fraternitatis vestre litteris, quam ex predecessorum meorum sánete memorie Victoris et Urbani privilegiis, cognovimus atque per- speximus beati Bertini monasterium, usque ad promotionis tue tém pora, in sue libertatis genio continue permansisse, salvo jure solium Taruanensis ecclesie. Unde tarn nobis quam fratribus nostris, dictante justicia, visum est, ut, si quid a te vel a Flandrensi comité, seu ab ejusdem loci abbate, minus provide minusque rationabiliter geslum est, nullum propter hoc detrimentum monasterio ingeratur. Nos igi- tur locum ipsum, quamdiu monastice religionis vigere claruerit, et abbatem loci in sua libértate et immunitate permanere decernimus.
