      Innocencius episcopus, servus servorum Dei, diletis filiis, de- cano et capjtulo Spirensi, salutem et apostolicam benedic- tionem. Sacrosancta Komana ecclesia devotos et humiles filios ex assueto pietatis officio diligere propensius consue- vit, et ne pravorum hominum molestiis agitentur, eis tanquam pia mater sue protectionis munimine confovere. Eapropter, dilecti in Domino filii, vestris iustis precibus inclinati per- sonas vestras et ecclesiam, in qua divino vacatis obsequio, cum omnibus bonis vestris, que in presenciarum racionabiliter possidetis, aut in futurum iustis modis prestante Domino po- teritis adipisci, sub beati Petri et nostra protectione susci- pimus et presentis scripti patrocinio communimus. Nulli ergo omnino hominum liceat hanc paginam nostre protectionis in- fringere vel ei ausu temerario contraire. Si quis autem hoc attemptare presumpserit, indignacionem omnipotentis Dei et beatorum Petri et Pauli, apostolorum eius, se noverit incur- surum. Datum Lugduni, III. kal. augusti, pontificatus nostri anno quarto.
