      f^uonradus Dei gracia ecclesie Spirensis episcopus, Otto eiusdem ecclesie prepositus, Albertus decanus, Andreas scolasticus, et capitulum universum. Quoniam que ab homini- bus aguntur facilius oblivioni traduntur, nisi scriptis alciori imprimantur memorie. Inde est quod ad noticiam tam pre- sencium quam futurorum pervenire volumus, quod cum mo- nachi de Heisterbach compararent quoddam predium apud Affolterloch, tres paludes piscosas emerunt pariter cum pre- dio, porro quidam miles de Schifferstat in predictis palu- dibus tale ius se habere affirmabat, ut quotiens in eis recia traherentur sex numadas piscium de iure suo esset habiturus. Habebat autem nomen Volradus. Cum vero prefati monachi Volrado tale ius infringere sepe conarentur, et ipse eis plures minas iactitaret, consilio prudentum hominum intercedente, talem Volradus admisit composicionem. De bonis monachorum accepit V. solidos et in presencia iudicum resignavit quid- quid in predictis paludibus iuris usurparet. Quod autem hec vera sint et inconvulsa permaneant, ad robur testimonii nostri presentem sedulam sigillo capituli nostri fecimus com- muniri. Testes etc.
