Abt Johannes I. von Schwanden und der Konvent von Einsiedeln verleihen das Meieramt in Eschenz dem Ritter Jakob Vogt in Frauenfeld, nachdem der vorige Meier, Ritter Berchtold, gestorben war, und versprechen auch, nach dessen Tode dieses Amt seinem Knaben, wenn er einen hinterlasse, zu geben.
