Waltherus dei gratia sancti Galli abbas1 omnibus presentem paginam in||specturis in vero salutari salutem. Noverit tam presens etas quam || futura posteritas, quod Henricus dictus de Chovbodim2 ad nos et omnes || successores nostros iure speciali taliter pertinere dinoscitur, quod neque advocatus neque villicus neque aliquis hominum preter solum abbatem sancti Galli, qui est tunc pro tempore, aliquam iurisdicionem in eo debeat habere. Et in huius rei testimonium ipse prefatus H. annuatim ipsi domino abbati arietem unius anni senem in festoa) sancti Johannis Baptiste dare debet. Et ut presens factum firmum debeat permanere, presentem paginam fecimus conscribi et nostri sigilli munimine roborari. Dat. apud sanctum Gallum anno domini M.CC.XL.II.
