Papst Innozenz IV. gewährt dem Benediktinerkloster Einsiedeln1 auf Fürsprache des Bischofs von Konstanz2 und des Abts von St. Gallen3 (. . . cum itaque venerabilis frater noster . . Constantiensis episcopus et dilectus filius . . abbas sancti Galli vestris angustiis condolentes apostolicam gratiam pro vobis duxerint implorandam, nos ipsorum optentu . . . indulgemus . . .) das Privileg, ohne ausdrückliche päpstliche Aufforderung keine Pfründer und Benefiziare aufnehmen zu müssen.
