    R. dei gratia abbas sancti Galli1 dilectis in Christo . . abbatisse et sororibus in Wald2 || salutem et orationes in Christo devotas. Petivit a nobis frater Burcardus de Rotwil3 || nostro pertinens monasterio, ut sibi volenti ad religionis ordinem transire propter deum || licenciam prestaremus. Nos ob spem divine retribucionis cum eis cooperari teneamur, qui edificant ad salutem. Licenciam sibi sea) in religionis habitum ad vestrum consortium transferendi et ibidem deo famulandi bona voluntate concedimus et presentibus indulgemus.     Zum Datum: Ohne Jahresangabe. Nach der Schrift gehört die Urkunde ins spätere 13. Jh., ist also von Abt Rumo von Ramstein (1277-1281) ausgestellt. Er wurde zwar schon 1274 gewählt, musste aber dem Gegenabt weichen und wirkte erst nach dessen Tod als Abt in St. Gallen vom Febr. 1277 bis anfangs Dez. 1281 (am 4. Dez. fand nach seiner Resignation die Neuwahl statt). Da der Samstag nach Andreas 1281 auf den 6. Dez. fällt, kommen nur die Jahre 1277-1280 in Frage, am ehesten 1278 und 1279, da der Samstag 1277 auf den 4. Dez. und 1280 gar auf den 7. Dez. fällt, welche Daten wohl eher mit vor und nach Nicolaus bezeichnet worden wären.
