Original Designation: no. 464 (p.320-21). Grant by Simon le Bret to the canons in free alms of the rent of 2s and a pound of incense rendered by Alveva daughter of Ailmar from one bovate of land which Magnus son of Oukes held, from Thormadeho, from his land at Culperditch, from six acres of meadow beside Fenditch, from eight acres of meadow in Whitecroft, from all his pasture between Whitecroft and Sandyfordrift, from shoreline by the Creek, from eight acres of shoreline also by the Creek, from two manslots of land held by Gipp son of Warin, from the service of Lata widow of Gipp, from pasture in Wthoft and from the free common of the vill of Wrangle and Leake between the sea and the marsh. After Alveva's death, the rent will be payable by John the son whom Alveva had by Simon; if John dies without heir it passes to Alveva's other sons by seniority and, if they die without heir, to the eldest of Alveva's daughters whom she had by Simon.
