20. Final concord made in the king's court at Westminster before the justices named between Thurbern son of Aliva, Richilda. his wife and John his son, and Hugh prior of Stoke by Clare, concerning twenty nine acres of land in Stoke. Thurbern, Richilda and John quitclaimed all right in the land to the prior and his successors. In return the prior has given John ten shillings, and will every Sunday for the duration of her life give Richilda a nun's corrody, three loaves called sweinesloves and three servants' loaves. 25 June 1198. Hec est finalis concordia facta in curia domini regis apud Westmonasterium die mercurii proxima post festum Sancti Iohannis anno regni regis Ricardi ix coram domino Huberto Cantuariensi archiepiscopo Ricardo Eliensi archidiacono magistro Thoma de Husseburne Willelmo de Warenn[] Oseberto filio Hervei Iohanne de Gestlinges iusticiariis et aliis baronibus et fidelibus domini regis ibidem tunc presentibus inter Thurbarnum filium Ailive et Rikildam uxorem suam et Iohannem filium suum petentes et Hugonem priorem de Stokes tenentem de ix viginti acris terre cum pertinenciis in Stokes unde placitum fuit inter eos in prefata curia scilicet quod predicti Thurbarnus et Rikilda uxor sua et Iohannes filius eorum remiserunt et quietum clamaverunt totum ius et clameum suum quod habuerunt in predictis novem viginti acris terre cum pertinenciis priori de Stokes et successoribus suis de se et heredibus suis inperpetuum Et pro hoc fine et concordia et quieto clamio predictus prior dedit predicto Iohanni decem solidos et Rikilde matri sue dabit singulis diebus dominicis in tota vita ipsius Rikilde i conredum moniale et tres panes scilicet qui vocantur sweinesloves et tres panes servientum
