9. Quitclaim to the monks by Hugh, son of Robert Morsel of Blyth, of all his right in lands and tenements which formerly belonged to Reginald the gatekeeper, within the vill of Blyth and outside. For this quitclaim the monks paid Hugh 10s. of silver as gersum in his great necessity. At Nottingham, 29 Henry III (28 October 1244-27 October 1245). Sciant presentes et futuri quod ego Hugo filius Roberti Morsel de Blida concessi et quietum clamaui in perpetuum de me et heredibus meis priori Blide et conuentui totum ius meum et clamium quod habebam uel habere poteram in omnibus terris et tenementis cum pertinenciis que fuerunt Reginaldi ianitoris infra villam de Blida et extra Ita quod ego Hugo nec heredes mei nec aliquis pro nobis uel per nos nullum ius neque clamium in predictis terris et tenementis cum pertinenciis de cetero exigere uel vendicare poterimus Pro hac autem concessione et quieta clamacione dederunt mihi prior et conuentus decem solidos argenti de gersum in mea magna necessitate Et ut hec mea concessio et quieta clamacio rata et stabilis permaneat sigillum meum huic scripto apposui in testimonium Actum apud Notingham[] in itinere justiar[] Anno regni regis Henrici filii Johannis xxix Hiis testibus etc
