Agreement made on the feast of the Purification of the blessed Mary 1260 whereby Emma Beufiz and Henry her son have leased and granted to Richard de Welhsgrave his heirs or assigns, a certain furlong in the field of Whitemore (cultura(m) in camp' de Wytemor') with appurtenances lying between the land of Matthew le Bolt(er) on the one hand and Hornwood Lane (Homwodelone) on the other for a term of 10 years; to be held to him, his heirs or assigns, wheresoever he will wish to assign in sickness and in health of the grantors freely [etc.] by rendering annually 9 1/2d. at four terms of the year according to the usage of Coventry for all secular service [etc.]. Warranty and sealing clauses. Witnesses: William Leuwin, Robert de Chilton', Henry Baker (pistor') then bailiff, William de Alisley, Alexander de Ruiton', John son of Simon, Nicholas de Bulkinton', Roger de Wytemor', Peter Frewin, William Frewin, Henry the Serjeant (s(er)viente), Thomas the clerk and others.
