Comment

Date: The limits of date for the present charter are assigned on the assumption that the first two witnesses are Geoffrey de Muschamp, who was archdeacon of Cleveland from 1189 to 1198, and Peter de Ros, who was succeeded as archdeacon of Carlisle by 1191.
