Memorandum quod cum inter dominos priorem et conventum de Lanrecost[] ex parte una et Willelmum de Neuby necnon et suos tenentes de eadem ex altera super possessione vel quasi[] percipiendi decimas garbarum ville de Neuby ad hostia grangiarum eiusdem ville in qua quidem possessione prior et conventus predicti nomine ecclesie sue de Irthinton[] de consuetudine approbata se hactenus esse dicebant et etiam se per predictos Willelmum et tenentes suos predicta possessione injuste fuisse spoliatos orta fuisset materia questionis predictis partibus coram nobis suppriore ecclesie beate Marie Karl[]i gerente vices venerabilis patris domini Roberti Karl[]i episcopi in causa predicta die sabbati proxima ante festum sancti Gregorii anno Domini m cc lx septimo legittime comparentibus idem Willelmus pro se et suis tenentibus de intentione partis adverse coram nobis in judicio confitebatur videlicet se et suos tenentes ad solutionem predicte decime in forma petita teneri Nos vero supprior predictus auctoritate nobis in hac parte commissa confessionem predicti Willelmi secuti eundem Willelmum et suos tenentes ad solutionem decime predicte predictis priori et conventui faciendam in forma qua petebatur sententialiter et diffinitive condempnamus eundem Willelmum si contravenire presumpserit in hiis scriptis excommunicando reservata nichilominus nobis potestate contradictores et rebelles censura ecclesiastica compescendi In cuius rei testimonium presenti memorando sigillum nostrum apposuimus
