Graindorge granted to the monks of Sallay his share of the pasture between the monks' land and the boundaries between Barrowby and the forest, for a term of twelve years beginning Whitsuntide, 1224. Omnibus ad quos presens scriptum pervenerit W Graindorge salutem Noveritis me concessisse et presenti carta mea confirmasse Deo et monachis beate Marie de Sallai totam partem meam illius pasture que jacet inter terram eorundem monachorum et divisas inter Bergebi et forestam a novo fossato ex parte Kereby quamdiu terra eorundem monachorum durat versus Kirkebi usque ad croftum Thome de Godeleberg[] sicut recta linea clauditur usque in Suindunbec Et ego et heredes mei et clausuram istam et quicquid infra divisas istas continetur tam in bosco quam in plano predictis monachis warantizabimus contra omnes a Pentecoste anno Incarnacionis Domini m cc xxiiij usque ad terminum annorum xii vestura tamen illius anni predictis monachis remanente et clausis qui in inicio hujus convencionis habuerunt Et si forte evenerit quod contencio aliqua orta fuerit super predicto clauso ego illud advocabo sicut clausum quod ego feci et predicti monachi pro eo nichil perdent Ad hec autem omnia fideliter tenend usque ad predictum terminum ego W pro me et heredibus meis fidem meam affidavi et plegios inveni Ricardum de Haltona et Hugonem de Flasceby His testibus Malgero Wavasore Hugone et Helia filiis ejus Roberto Beugrant et aliis
