Date: Issued after Bartholomew became bishop of Exeter (and also after no. 49, which makes no mention of this gift) but before Richard's death. La Dune, like Street, was doubtless in or near Christchurch. One Tosti held land at nearby Holdenhurst (Dorset) which Earl Richard had given to Quarr Abbey before 1155 (below, Appendix I, no. 14).
