Abstract987. Agreement between Thurgarton and Sir Oliver (6th baron) Deyncourt whereby Sir Oliver granted that Thurgarton should always have in Frithwood twelve animals, eight pigs and twelve cartloads of wood under a penalty of one cask of wine or 40s. (1231-2). Notes. fo. 142 is badly stained at the bottom by what appears to be a contemporary spillage of ink. The writing is discernible but not clear enough to determine accurately and ultra-violet light failed to improve matters. Therefore, many of the words supplied even in square brackets are conjectural. (Agreement, ) Givers: Thurgarton Priory Receivers: Oliver Deyncourt
