Actum of the abbot of St James', Northampton, the prior of St Andrew's, Northampton and the prior of [Canon's] Ashby, appointed judges-delegate in the dispute between the monks and the Cistercians of Pipewell concerning the tithes due from the land held by the latter in Cold Ashby. The priory gives up its claim to tithes from all but three and a half virgates, which will continue to pay, in return for 60s. p.a. Any future lands acquired by Pipewell and maintained in demesne will be liable to tithe.
