Marczali vajda fia János, a kunok ispánja, a király rendeletére összehívta a Halas vidékén lakó kir. kunok kapitányait és pusztai kunjait és ily szabadságot adott nekik: Mindkét csoport évenként választ egy-egy esküdt kapitányt és a pusztai kunok még 12 esküdtet és ezek járnak el minden pénzügyi és igazságügyi dolgukban.
