Az egri káptalan tanusítja, hogy megkapva Palocz-i László országbíró beiktatólevelét Cheb-i Benedek királyi emberrel Tamás papot, a Szent István oltár rektorát küldték ki hiteles emberül, nevezettek ápr. 7-án Kech possession a néhai Kech-i Balázs részébe a név szerint felsorolt szomszédok jelenlétében bevezették Kech-i Miklóst.
