Lajos király értesíti a címzettet, hogy Werböczi Istvánt, a perszonális prézencia locumtenensét és Balbus Jeromos pozsonyi prépostot, titkos tanácsost küldi a császárhoz követségben, kéri egyben, hogy segítse a követeket céljaik elérésében.
