    • Materielle Beschreibung: 
      Links herausgerückte Deckfarbeninitiale F(ranciscus) vor unbemaltem Grund.
    • Schriftband mit Devise am oberen Rand.
    • Stil und Einordnung: 
      Die Initiale steht in einer derzeit ab 1485 nachweisbaren Tradition prunkvoller Urkunden vom Mantuaner Hof. Diese Stücke zeigen keine stilistischen Zusammenhänge. Dies ändert sich freilich nun, denn die Urkunde von 1497 Mai 24 in Berlin ist offenkundig derselben Hand zuzuweisen; dort mehr zu Zuschreibungsfragen.
