    • Materielle Beschreibung: 
      Wappenfrontispiz in Deckfarbenmalerei.
    • Zwei golden gerahmte Medaillons, heraldisch rechts mit dem mit einer kleinen Tiara bekrönten Medici-Wappen, vis à vis das französische Wappen mit den drei Lilien, bekrönt von einer goldenen Krone. Ein vertikaler Ornamentstab trennt die beiden Medaillons.
    • Stil und Einordnung: 
      Wo das ungewöhnliche Frontispiz entstand, bleibt vorerst unklar. Eine Entstehung in Frankreich ist zumindest ebenso wahrscheinlich wie eine in Rom.
