    Nos consules et universi cives Lutrenses. Tenore presen- tium notum esse volumus universis tam presentibus quam fu- turis, quod in nostra presentia constituti Ioannes dictus de Montfort, armiger, et Gertrudis relicta quondam Thylmanni de Wilrebach, coniuges legitimi, uostri concives, recognove- runt et publice sunt confessi, . . abbatem et conventum de Otterburg, mediantibus Syfrido dicto David, armigero, Con rado magistro civium, et Iohanne suo privigno, super omni iure, actione et impetitione, quod vel que occasione bonorum rerum vel testamenti Tbylmanni bone memorie predicti inter ipsos hinc et inde vertebantur (secum compositos esse ? ) ; re- nuntiantes pro se et suis heredibus omni iuri et actioni, quod vel quam in dictis rebus et bonis habebant, vel sibi compe tere videbantur, et nichilominus omnibus aliis querimoniis, inimicitiis, actionibus seu impetitionibus, ratione vel occasione cuiuscunque cause, que ipsis contra predictos . . abbatem et conventum de Otterburg in hanc diem competere potuissent. Ratione cuius compositionis recognoverunt se ab eisdem . . abbate et conventu de Otterburg quindecim libras Hallens. re cepisse , exceptioni non numerate, non tradite sibi dicte pe- cunie et in usus suos non converse publice renuntiantes. In quorum omnium testimonium ac preces partium predictarum
