Synopis originis. Haec Marianna ex lapide statua ante tempus immemoriale a molitore quodam de Schwechet ad Cellas Marianas Styrienses iter faciente publicae venerationi extructa fuit, et ne sine tecto omni iniuriae tempestatis esset exposita duo devoti cives Viennenses sacellum desuper lapidibus extrui curabant. Cum autem hoc toti non solum viciniae, verum etiam alijs circumquaque locis collata in omne genus hominum gratiarum Matris beneficia commendarent, abbas Ildephonsus singulari in Deiparam motus pietate impetrata a venerabili tunc temporis Passaviensi consistorio facultate. etc. desunt.

Worum es sich bei diesem Schriftstück handelt, ist nicht ganz klar, doch könnte es sich um eine Memoriale handeln, das anläßlich der Weihe der Kapelle 1726 verfaßt wurde. Näheres hiezu bei Thomas AIGNER, Das Mirakelbuch der Wallfahrtskirche Hafnerberg. Edition und Kommentar (=phil. Diplomarbeit, Wien 1994). Die entsprechenden Akten der geistlichen Verwaltung befinden sich im DAW, Pfarrakten Hafnerberg.
