      Adalbertus sanetae Romanae et apostolicae sedis legatus, neenon universarum septentrionalium et orientalium nationum archiepiscopus. Hammaburgensis quoque

      ecclesiae provisor indignus. Fulconi . Sanctissimus patronus noster Ansgarius,

      vobiscum conversatus, divina disponente dementia nostrae sedis primus est inthroni- zatus archiepiscopus; qui et verbum vitae nostris partibus intulit et universitalem Fresonum. Danorum, Sclauorum, Noruegorum, Sueonum cum curis innumerabilibus ad fidei sacramenta predicando convertit. Quae quidem apud vos scripta vobis credidimus esse notissima. — —
