    Universis presentes litteras visuris et audituris, nos Gerardus do- 1289 minus de Dicka notum facimus, quod iuravimus tactis sacrosanctis civibus et civitati Coloniensi renunciationem, que urvede vocatur, ita quod nos parentes nostri, consanguinei et amici non faciemus neque facient vindictam in futurum adversus dominos ducem Brabantie, de Monte, de Juliaco, de Marcka, comites, et cives Colonienses predictos ac eorum adiutores quoscumque ratione conflictus, qui accidit apud Wurinc, ubi capti fuimus ex parte civium predictorum, et si quid mali intellexerimus procurari contra eos, quod ad hoc consilium vel auxilium non faciemus sed pro posse nostro et sine dolo debemus ipsos premunire, deinceps contra cives et civitatem Coloniensem ser- vitium cum armis alicui non facturi. Super hoc in testimonium at- que fidem sigillum nostrum duximus presentibus apponendum.

    Datum et actum anno domini MCC octogesimo octavo, feria tertia ante festum beate Gertrudis.
