    Universis presentes litteras visuris et audituris iudices, scabini, consilium et communc civitatis Coloniensis, cognoscere veritatem. Ut gratiam et protectionem reverendi in Christo patris ac domini nostri domini Syfridi Coloniensis archiepiscopi habundantius habea- mns, presentium serie pnblice protestamur, nos promisisse et promit- timus dicto domino nostro archiepiscopo Coloniensi et suis capitulis, clericis universis, vasallis et ministerialibus ccclesie Coloniensis omnia iura, omnes libertates nec non bonas et rationabiles consuetudines, que et quas hactenus habucrunt et iam habent ab imperatoribus, regibus et archiepiscopis rationabiliter concessas, novas similiter et antiquas, scriptas pariter et non scriptas, prout debemus inviolabili- ter servaturos. In cuius rei testimonium et firmitatem sigillum com- mune civitatis Coloniensis presentibus duximus apponendum.
