    Nos Johannis dei gratia Lotharingie, Brabautie et Lymburgensis dux et Everardus comes de Marka notum facimus universis presen- tes litteras visuris et audituris, quod cum nobilis vir Walramus comes Juliacensis super requisitione et querela, quas movebat contra cives et civitatem Coloniensem in eo videlicet, quod ipsis de obitu bone memorie domini Wilhelmi comitis Juliacensis patris sui centum mar- carum redditus sibi detenuisse et quos etiam ei et successoribus suis comitibus Juliacensibus solvere deberent annuatim, asserebat, et etiam aliis excessibus, quos contra patrem suum predictum ct sibi attinen- tes dicebat attemptasse, cives eosdem in nos tanquam in arbitros compromisisset, ut quicquid inter ipsum et cives predictos ordinarc- inus et statueremus, quod hoc idem comes ratum habere deberet et

    1289 servare, nos habita deliberatione potestatem, quam habemus in pre- missis, transferimus, conferimus et committimus omnino per presentes viris providis Henrico dicto Vlache, Costantino dicto Lysolskirgen et Franconi dicto de Cornu vicecomiti, civibus Coloniensibus, ut quicquid ipsi inter comitem Juliacensem et cives predictos pronun- ciaverint, ordinaveriut et statuerint, quod hoc ratum permanebit et ipse partes inviolabiliter observabunt, facient et implebunt sine dolo. Super hoc in testimonium atque fidem sigilla nostra apponi fecimus huic scripto.
