    1285 Nos Wilhelmus dictus de Elepc et Thilemannus filius Erenberti de Enepenc notum esse cupimus universis tenore presentium recognoscentes, quod cum iu eivitate Coloniensi super crimine furti nobis ibidem impositi deprehensi et incarecrati essemus, nos quia per discretos viros pre- positum in Else, Wicholdum plebanum in Hagene, Jobannem pleba- num in Rallenberg et scultetum domini Coloniensis ibidem iudieibus et scabinis Coloniensibus ostensum fuit sufficienter nos esse de huius- modi crimine furti innocentes, iuramentum corporaliter prestitimns, quod premissa per nos nee per nostros amicos et pro nobis facere volentes non vindicabimus nec in eivitate Coloniensi nec extra quo- quomodo, renunciantes simpliciter et pure omni rancori, si quem ha- buimus super premissis. In cuius rei testimonium quia sigilla propria non habemus, sigillorum predictorum prepositi, plebanorum et sculteti, que pro nobis apponi rogavimus, huic scripto munimine sunms contenti.

    Datum anno domini millesimo ducentesimo octuagesimo quinto, feria sexta ante festum beati Barnabe apostoli.

    Nach dem Original im Stadt-Archiv. Am ersten Siegel ist vou der Umschrift noch zu lesen: ...rardi ppositi in Else, vom zweiten: ...boldi Rectoris ecc. iu Hag..., das dritte, ein kleines Reitersiegel, ist uuleserlich, ebenso das vierte.
