Ad presentium et futurorum perpetuam noticiam testimonio presentium peruenire volumus, quod reditus Centum marcarum an- nuarum illustri viro domino Ottoni Comiti Gclrie et suis heredibus Comitatum Gelrie optinentibus assignare et soluere promisimus sin- gulis annis in festo beati Remigii sine contradictione qualibet et de- fectu ad habendam amiciciam eorundem, hoc expresso, quod si in festo predicto quolibet anno memoratas Centum marcas certo nuncio dicti domini Comitis vel heredum suorum non assignaremus uel sol- ueremus, licitum sit et acceptamus, quod ipse dominus Comes nel heredes sui antedicti pignora Conciuium nostrorum propter offensam nostram per se vel per suos capere poterunt et tenere usque ad re- cuperacionem pecunie supradicte. In cuius rei testimonium sigillum Ciuitatis nostre de omnium nostrum voluntate et consensn presenti scripto duximus apponendum.
