Alexander episcopus seruus seruorum dei. Venerabili fratri Episcopo Monasteriensi salutem et apostolicam benedictionem. Sua nobis venc rabilis frater noster archiepiscopus Coloniensis petitione monstrauit, quod cum olim nonnulle persone tam regularium quam secularium ecclesiarum de Colonia querentes que sua sunt, non que dei, in clau stris suis negotia secularia exercerent et ex hoc multa ibidem com- mitterentur enormia et Ciues Colonienses graue scandalum paterentur, idem archiepiscopus decorem domus dei ex intimo diligens et de cordibus ipsorum Ciuium studens huiusmodi scandalum remouere in- ter cetera deliberatione prouida statuit, ut nullus in claustris ipsis tabernas faciat uel uinum uendat aut fieri hoc permittat, in contra- dictores excommunicationis sententiam promulgando, sicut in litteris inde confectis dicitur plenius contineri, at persone supradicte statu- tum huiusmodi obseruare indebite contradicunt. Quo circa fraternitati tue per apostolica scripta mandamus, quatinus, si est ita, personas ipsas, quod statutum huiusmodi, sicut prouide ac sine prauitate factum est, obseruare studeant, ut tenentur, monitione premissa, per censuram ecclesiasticam appellatione remota preuia ratione compellas, non ob- stante aliqua sedis apostolice indulgentia, de qua uel cuius tenore
