The Archival Collection of Charters of The Archives of Vojvodina consists of 50 charters which were written in the period from 1565-1861. They are written in Latin, German, Hungarian, Old Slavic, Italian, Greek and Slovakian. Most of the charters are issued by the Habsburg rulers of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, some are issued by other secular and ecclesiastical rulers. With these charters earlier privileges are confirmed or granted – the titles of nobility and other titles, the right to lands etc., the naming of persons for various clerical and secular positions and other similar things.
