Nr. CCXVIII. — 1179. — Erzbischof Konrad von Salz- burg beweist vor dem
Reichshofe, dass das Bisthum Gurk von der Griindung her so instituirt sei, dass der
Erzbischof von Salzburg nach eigener Erwagung den Bischof von G. zu wahlen habe. Er
kniipft hieran die Frage: an is, qui Gur- censis foret electus, posset licite de
possessionibus G. eccle- siae aliquid nomine feodi cuiquam concedere, antequam ipse G. a
S. archiepiscopo cura et possessione eiusdem episco- patus fuisset investitus? Dies wird
durch Rechtspruch ver- neint: quod nec Gurcensis electus nec quisquam alius possit aut
debeat aliquod feodum in quemquam transferre, ante- quam ipse a suo auctore sit
