      In nomine sancte et individue trinitatis, amen. Theodericus dei gracia comes Clevensis omnibus, ad quos presens scriptum pervenerit, in perpetuum. Cum hospitale sancte Marie Theu- thonicorum Iherosolimit. ultra mare proficiat et scytra, deus qui omnium merita pensat et mensuras similes remetitur intuens materne reverentie claritatem, dicte domui ut apparet gratiam continue propitiationis impendit et labores illius in fructu multi- plici amplificat et dilatat in germine honestatis. Nos igitur con- templantes memoratam domum divina instauracione fulciri, pa- trocinium nostrum duximus impertiendum eidem, ut a nostra terra et dominio ad suas necessitates se gaudeat commoda gra- tiora percepisse. De consilio itaque ministerialium et fidelium nostrorum pro perpetua elemosina concessimus fratribus domus prenotate, quod annuatim unam navim, cum centum vasis vini de suo proprio incremento provenientis oneratam, per thelonia nostra super Renum constituta sine omni exactione solute et libere deducant. Ut igitur hec pia et salubris nostra concessio tam a nobis quam a successoribus nostris perpetuo firma et stabilis servefur, presentem paginam exinde conscriptam sigilli nostri impressione fecimus communiri.
