      Universis presens scriptum visuris magister Iohannes, de- canus ecclesie sancti Castoris in Confluentia, canonicus et officialis Trevirensis, salutem et omne bonum. Notum esse vo- lumus, quod nos litteras domini ducis Bawar., vero sigillo suo sigillatas non cancellatas nec in aliqua sui parte viciatas, vi dimus et perlegimus in hec verba:

      Ludwicus dei gracia comes Palatinus Reni etc. Datum Ingolstadt, anno domini m.cc.l.viil, in die Marie Mag dalene, prime indictionis. In cuius rei testimonium presens scriptum sigilli nostri muni- mine fecimus communiri. Datum in vigilia beati Iacobi apo- stoli, anno domini m.cc.lx. quinto.
