anno tertii Ononis regnantis XI). Biristat (Bisistat). — König Otto (III) bestätigt wie
seine Vorfahren dem Kloster St. Gallen unter Abt Gerhard die Immunität, die freie Abtwahl,
das Hecht der Eidesforderung vor Gericht (coactum jnramentum) und erklärt, dass das
Kloster St. Gallen ausser in geistlichen Dingen nur ihm und seinen Nachfolgern unterworfen
sei (nostro nostrorumque suc- cessorum, post deum et sanetos ejus munieipatui subjectum).
