    Quoniam breuis hominum memoria turbe rerum non sufficit, sapientum sagacitas adinuenit, vt, que digna sunt memoria, ne cum processu labili temporis euanescant, scripturarum testimonio confir- mentur. Nouerint igitur vniuersi tam presentes quam futuri, ad quos peruenerit presens scriptum, quod ego frater Nicolaus prior, totusque conuentus fratrum ordinis predicatorum in Noua Ciuitate quandam vineam in Phaffesteten sitam, per Wolfgerum et vxorem eius Hild- gardim felicis memorie tempore, quo bene poterant, coram ydoneis personis ac fide dignis nobis donatam fratribus monasterii sanete crucis pro quatuor libris minus XXX. denariis quiete et libere possi- dendam vendidimus hoc adiecto, quod vineam predictam fratribus memoratis ab inpeticione qualibet omni quo tenemur iure, prout con- suetudo terre exigit generalis, nos obligamus defendere et tueri. In cuius rei testimonium sigillum nostri conuentus duximus presenti- bus apponendum testibus annotatis, qui sunt, Gerhardus officialis, Eberhardus diet us Samp, Chunradus gener Helwigis, Marquardus magister moncium, Rudolfus filius Samponis, Heinricus filius Sifridi, Leupoldus filius Haelwigis, Leupoldus Spizendorfer, Chunradus Dornpech, Eberhardus filius Samponis, et plures alii fide digni.
