    Gregorius episcopus seruus seruorum dei dilectis filiis abbati Cistercii et vniuersis coabbatibus suis Cisterciensis ordinis salutem et apostolicam benedictionem. Cum monachos et conuersos monaste- riorum uestrorum ab exeommunicatione, quam iniciendomanus uiolentas inuicem in se ipsos frequenter ineurrunt, ex officio uestro absoluere ualeatis, auetoritate uobis presentium indulgemus, ut absoluendi eos ab exeomunicatione huiusmodi prioribus uestris, cum uos abesse con- tigerit, possitis committere uices uestras. Nulli ergo omnino hominum

    liceat, hanc paginam nostre concessionis infringere, uel ei ausu teme rario contraire. Si quis autem hoc attemptare presumpserit, indigna- tionem omnipotentis dei et beatorum Petri et Pauli apostolorum eius se nouerit incursurum.
