Quo [Chalhocho abbate] decedente1 successit Gerhohus vir nimiae mansuetudinis et humilitatis genere clarus scientia praeditus moribus gratus. Huius temporibus in expeditione Jerosolymitana obiit domnus Reginbertus Pattaviensisa episcopus2 cui successit in episcopatu filius Liutpaldi marchionis Cuonradus.3 Hie secundo ordinationis suae anno suggestione quorundam fratrum nomen et locum abbatis appetentium multis eundem abbatem iniuriarum molestiis nimis infensum et infestum, quia erat ut diximus magnae humilitatis et mansuetudinis, maiori cessit nomenque abbatis et curam episcopo resignavit.4 Obiit autem eodem depositionis suae anno fratribus, quorum instinctu depositus fuerat, multis tribulationum et infirmitatum doloribus et aerumnis domino illis vicem reddente post mortem suam afflictis.
