    Johannes episcopus, servus servorum Dei. Dilecto filio Stephano preposito Newnburgensi - salutem et apostolicam benedictionem. Ex parte tua fuit propositum coram nobis, quod nonnulli Canonici et Conversi monasterii tui frequenter, ne ad eorum correccionem, prout ad tuum spectat officium, procedere valeas, frustratorie appellacionis obstaculum interponunt, sicque te propter hoc ab huiusmodi correccione cessante, ipsorum excessus remanent impuniti, super quo provideri tibi per sedem apostolicam postulasti. Nolentes igitur, ut trahatur ad peccatorum Diffragium, quod ad oppressorum subsidium esse dinoscitur institutum, presencium tibi auctoritate concedimus, ut appellacione frivola non obstante circa Correccionem Canonicorum et Conversorum predictorum libere officii tui Debitum valeas exercere. Datum Avinione Nonas Junii Pontificatus nostri anno Octavo.
