    Lebenau ist in der Nähe von Laufen, das Gericht Lebenbau bestand aus Unterlebenau, rechts der Salzach, und Oberlebenau, links der Salzach; zu Unterlebenau gehörte die Pfarre, jetzt Dekanatspfarre, St. Georgen bei Oberndorf; vgl. A 1892 .. 1687, A 1981 .. 1693, A 2407 .. 1727. In A 1752 .. 1677 nur Lebenau wie A 359. Möglicherweise ist es das "beneficium Bruckerholz", welches Gerung von Haunsberg dem Abte Conrad I (1230 - 1257) geschenkt hat. Vgl. P. Michael Filz, Geschichte von Michaelbeuern, Seite 731.
