DE INTHODUCTIONE OROINIS EX HOC CENOBIO SITHIC IN VICINAS ECCLESIAS.
De Ierosolimis igitur scribendo Flandriam redeuntes, qualiter cetere circumjacentes ecclesie ad correctionem religionis sint coacte succinctim commemoremus. Que, cum erga ecclesiam Sithiensem mixtim et livore et timoré variarentur, nunc invidentes ejusdem provectibus, nunc vero timentes ne coacti involverentur similibus, sapientia Dei de correctione earum congruam adinvenit opportuni- tatem, abbatum scilicet de hoc mundo vocationem aut intestinam fratrum dissentionem.
