    Taruanenscs nativa insolentia erga suos episcopos sepe tumul tuantes, tres sibi invicem succedentes ex ipsis, non sine infamia, (ieposuere. Nam, postDrogonem felicis memorie, Taruanensis civi tatis vigesimum sextum episcopum, Hubertus, electione cunctorum, satis honeste litteratus, pontificatum adeptus, magna confusione a Morinensibus deturpatur. Quibus dum acriter resisteret, nescio qua de causa, incurrit iram apostolicam, a qua anulo pontificali, non tarnen beneficiis expoliatus ceteris, ex hac occasione adversariis in- validior redditur. Qui in quodam conventu, dum seorsum cum pau- cis staret, ac nescio quid cum ipsis confabularetur, ex improviso qui dam de adversariis, laxato equo, lancea cum impetu hunc apetiit, graviterque vulncravit; timensque ex vulnere mori, monacus hie in Sithiu efficitur. Cui antea sua talis depositio divinitus, ut ego au- divi, a viro veraci ostensa est.
