      Fridericus Dei gracia Romanorum imperator semper augus- tus, Ihierosalem et Sicilie rex. Per presens scriptum notuxn esse volumus tam presentibus quam futuris, quod nos at- tendentes, quomodo Spirensis civitas a divis progenitoribus nostris Romanorum imperatoribus et regibus pociora funda- cionis sue receperit incrementa, considerantes nichilominus devotam fidem, qua nobis et imperio cives dicte civitatis hactenus adheserunt et ammodo desiderant adherere, iuxta devotas eorum preces, aquam que Spirbach dicitur deductam pro molendino apud Rechholtz, quod ereximus ad usus nos- tros, ipsis restituendam duximus pro suis usibus reducendam, ita tamen, quod expense facte circa empcionem et construc- tionem eiusdem molendini nostre curie refundantur- Ad huius itaque rei et nostre restitucionis memoriam presens scriptum fieri et maiestatis nostre sigillo iussimus communiri.
