Ex parte tua fuit a nobis humiliter postulatum, ut, ne per innovationem, quam fecimus cuiusdam privilegii monasterii sancti Galli2, ecclesie tibi commisse possit in posterum aliquod preiudicium generari, providere de benignitate sedis apostolice dignaremur. Cum igitur ex iniuncto nobis apostolatus officio teneamur omnium ecclesiarum iura servare penitus inconcussa, fratemitati tue tenore presentium duximus intimandum, quod intentionis nostre non extitit nec existit, ut per innovationem huiusmodi iuri Constantiensis ecclesie in aliquo derogetur, cum innovatio ius novum non conferat nec etiam tollat vetus, propter quod te in eo statu esse volumus, in quo tempore impetrate innovationis dinosceris extitisse. Ceterum per hoc nullum intendimus iuri alias eidem monasterio copetentia) preiudicium generari.||
