Die Brüder Kraft, Berchtold, Rudolf und Friedrich von Toggenburg schenken dem Kloster St. Johann die Vogtei Breitenau, Kraft zudem alle Gerichtsrechte über Klosterleute und -lehen mit Ausnahme der Kriminalgerichtsbarkeit.

Cum facta mortalium caduca sint et transitoria, discreta prudentum virorum industria rerum gestarum noticiam, || ne processu temporis evanescat, litterarum indiciis censuit eternari. Notum sit igitur tam presentibus quam futuris, quod ego Craft || comes de Tokinburch et Bertoldus et Rvodolfus et Fridericus2 fratres mei carnales contulimus advocatiam in Breitunowe3 in Turtal4, que iure hereditario ex parte fratris nostri Diethelmi5 bone memorie ad nos pervenit, pro remedio ipsius Diethelmi beato Johanni6, et resignavimus eandem advocatiam Breitunovve cum omni iurisdictione in manus reis verendi in Christo Volrici7 abbatis sancti Johannis in Turtal, ut ipse Vol. abbas vel quilibet eius successor et universi confratres eandem advocatiam perpetualiter teneant et nec abbas nec confratres nec homines residentes in ipsa advocatia Breitunovve nobis nec posteris nostris numquam decetero aliqua stipendia vel servicia vel exaetiones tribuant, exceptis sex libris piperis, quas . . abbas, quicumque pro tempore fuerit, nobis annuatim ad memoriale de ipsa advocatia persolvat. Item ego Craft comes de Tokinburch donavi dilecto in Christo Vol. abbati sancti Johannis et omnibus suis successoribus omnia iura iudicanda et determinanda tam super homines quam super feoda spectancia ad monasterium sancti Johannis, exceptis capitalibus sentenciis, effusione sanguinis et super fures, quod ego vel meus specialis minister iudicare debemus, et abbas de collatione feodorum nec de bonis in suis iudiciis acquisitis nobis nec ministris nostris nec posteris nostris numquam decetero nichil inde tribuat, sed sibi et confratribus suis in honore beati Johannis retineat. Acta sunt hec in castro Yberch8, anno ab incarnationisa) domini M°.CC°.XLIX.b) indictionis VII. XIIII. kl. februarii. Ut autem hec rata et firma permaneant in perpetuum, ego Craft comes de Tokinburch et Bertoldus frater meus sigillis nostris fecimus hanc paginam roborari.
