In nomine domini amen. Nos Berchtoldus dei gratia abbas1, Manegoldus decanus2, Albertus prepositus3 totusque conventus monasterii sancti Galli ordinis sancti Benedicti Const(antiensis) dyocesis venerabilibus in Christo preposito et conventui monasterii de Ruti4 ordinis Premonstratensis eiusdem dyocesis salutem et sinceram in domino caritatem. Licet res ecclesiasticas alienari non liceat, non tamen prohibitum intelligitur, res huiusmodi, que a laicis detinentur, ad usum ecclesiasticum revocare. Ius enim canonicum libenter amplectitur, si, quod est spirituale vel spirituali annexum, a layco ad ecclesiam revertatur. Ea itaque consideracione caritati vestre benigno concurrentes affectu bonum in Hirsindowe5 predium utique monasterii nostri, sicut illud a quondam Kraftone milite et fratre suo Friderico de Toggenburg6 feodatoriis nostris pro certa peccunie summa comparastis, vobis et monasterio vestro auctoritate presencium liberaliter concedimus cum omnibus iuribus et pertineneiis suis perpetuo possidendum. Verum ne proprietas eiusdem boni monasterio nostro aliquatenus possit deperire, annuum censum unius libre cere vobis et monasterio vestro pro ipso imponimus custodi monasterii nostri, qui pro tempore fuerit, in festo sancti Galli singulis annis persolvendum. Ut autem hec predicta concessio robur obtineat firmitatis, presentem paginam sigillis nostris fecimus consignari. Actum anno domini M°CC°LIIII°, VI kln. octobr., ind. XIII.
