Venerabilibus in Christo Heinrico abbati et conventui monasterii de Riuti1 Premonstratensis ordinis Constantiensis || diocesis Bertoldus divina miseratione abbas2, Manegoldus decanus3 totusque conventus monasterii sancti Galli ordinis sancti Benedicti || salutem et sinceram in domino karitatem. Multis et magnis occurrimus incommodis, si ea beneficia, que locis divino mancipatis obsequio || de bonis nobis a deo collatis impendimus, litterarum ac testium commendari facimus memorie, ne apud posteros nostros oblivionis vicio pereant et labantur. Hoc nimirum intuitu tenore presentium notum esse volumus universis, ad quos presens scriptum pervenerit, quod nos obtentu retributionis divine et ad instantiam dilectorum in Christo Waltheri de Lantsberc et Waltheri filii eiusdem4 militum ecclesie nostre ministerialium predium ipsorum in Hofstetin5 sub Castro Schowenberc6 situm, quod ipsis mere ac pure pertinebat vosque illud ab eis pro certa pecunie summa comparastis, de manibus eorum resignatum recipientes, vobis et monasterio vestro liberaliter concedimus cum omnibus iuribus et pertinentiis suis perpetuo possidendum sub annui census prestatione videlicet dimidie libre cere, quam custodi monasterii nostri singulis annis assignare tenemini in altario sancti Galli. Ut autem hec concessio nostra robur debite firmitatis obtineat, presentem paginam vobis tradimus sigillorum nostrorum munimine roboratam.
