Omnibus Christi fidelibus, quibus presentes exhibite fuerint, E. dei gratia episcopus Constantiensis1 et B. abbas monasterii sancti Galli2 salutem in lesu Christo. Noverint universi et singuli presentium inspec||tores, quod licet dilecti in Christo L. prepositus, S. decanus totumque capitulum Aug(ustense) iniuriam eis in persona venerabilis patris H. episcopi Aug(ustensis)3 per discretum virum S. iuniorem de || Mindelberch4 militem irrogatam, ex eo quod idem cum suis complieibus eundem episcopum Aug(ustensem) non sine manuum iniectione violenta captivarat et captivatum aliquamdiu || detinuerat castrumque suum in Strazberch5 hostiliter irruens incendio devastarat, ad eiusdem episcopi supplicationem remiserint omnino et nullam super ea eidem militi querimoniam se moturos fideliter promiserint, et quod prefatus episcopus Aug(ustensis) iniuriam remisit eandem testimonium perhibentes litteras capituli sui sigillo roboratas in eorumdem evidentiam duxerint concedendas, super hoc tamen per nos de prefati militis bona voluntate et consensu taliter extitit ordinatum, quod idem prepositus decanus et capitulum ex hiis, que premissa sunt, si forte sepedictus episcopus contra ea quocumque modo venerit, aut per eosdem prepositum decanum et capitulum secus ex mandato apostolico vel cuiuslibet superioris factum fuerit, in nullo eidem militi teneantur nec sint sibi vel aliquatenus esse debeant ad quiequam obligati, presertim cum memorati prepositus decanus et capitulum hoc ipsum fuerint coram nobis, sicut confitemur, publice protestati et predictas litteras suas super hoc sub ea tantummodo conditione duxerint concedendas.
